Just in case anyone is interested in how the 3 holes actually work/are meant to work.....
you line up left/left to move the cam that direction by a degree or so and right/right to move it that way.
centre/centre is straight up

Jz's DIDN'T use a 340 ;)
It's a 341 or 343, bellhousing is different and it has full electronic control without the cable line pressure up of the 340.
Torque converter spline count is different as well.
I use wheel bearing grease on the tap to help catch the chips and I plug the compressor into one of the other port and supply it with 4psi to keep them out of the main gallery.
Done a bunch of blocks this way with no issues ever.
