    Yes, you can unscrew the lower under the car and check it first but if it's ok the Dash cluster has to come out to replace the upper :(

    The cable is in 2 pieces 1 x short lower and 1 x long upper. Fingers crossed it's the lower broken as it's an easy job to replace.

    It's a blast :D Last time I had it tested it was 88Db @ 4200 rpm, the legal limit here is 90Db so not too bad for a genuine 400rwhp car.

    Just about any gear oil that's in the correct weight range, being a gear style Diff it's not fussy about Oil.
