I'm NOT say bad things WILL happen just that it's NOT a chance I'd take but I'm guessing my usage will be quite different to yours (I drive fast and very hard on horrible roads)
I also manage to break a lot of indestuctable parts so won't take a chance on anything that's not 100%.
The Hi strength Steel used in car bodies anneals around 700c (this is why you're NOT meant to use oxy welding gear as the heat affected zone is so large)
Doesn't take a huge fire to generate 700c :nono:
Personal preference I'd NEVER reuse a burnt shell but that's just me.
Correct Mains are a must, if you were being ultra Anal about it all the accessories and you'd run Coolant through it as well.
It's surprising just how much the big lump of cast iron can move around.
HUGE difference in something that's been tweaked to get the biggest possible number in a controlled environment of a dyno to something that can actually be driven on the streets... :nono:
