Are there clips in the piston?
Stock ISN'T interference as I said it's 1:1.....
I don't mind being corrected if I'm wrong but all 7M pistons I've seen have had floating pins, in use the piston expands more than the pin so it can rotate/float, forged pistons expand more so have a small...
bzzzz wrong
Pump #2 would normally see an inlet pressure of ambient+ tank residual pressure so 14.7+ maybe 1>2 psi so can only flow xx volume based on what it can draw in based on the 15>16 psi acting on the inlet.
It then supplies this volume to the rail/injectors/FPR and any unused...
As Jamie said base of the screen is a high pressure zone so it's going to act as a brake for any hot air trying to escape once moving, when stopped though it will act as a chimney and reduce temps (we've been discussing this a LOT for my car with the over the engine header routing)
I used -10 from the Cam covers -8 then -6 to the intake, my motor was breathing a little by that stage though so the big lines helped.
First 30,000km's I ran it without the pcv or the catch can.
Sorry for the delay in asnwering Jamie (took me this long to find the pic)
Here's how I did mine.
RED= Cam covers to catchcan
BLUE= CC to Turbo inlet
GREEN= CC to Intake on the plenum side of the TB
I use a real PCV Valve in the green line.
