The vast majority of people "building" 7M's shouldn't be working on a Briggs and Stratton let alone a multivalve turbo I-6..... :nono:
I blame the bullshit TV build programs for convincing people they can do it themselves in a few weeks...
They don't show the 3+ months of logistics and...
Buy one from a junkyard if you're too tight to buy new.....
STUPID stupid Mod :nono:
Seriously you already have turned the key to ON what's so hard about turning it 1 more click.....
Nascar's don't have a key that you have to turn first though ;)
You can get the branded version from Honda, Suzuki, Yamaha, Bombardier and so on it's sold as ie: "HondaBond" ect, normal 1207b is available at most big parts stores.
Only "advantage" the factory has is a range of brand new parts so they can "select fit" an engine to get it within acceptable tolerances and even then they occasionally screw the pooch.
Someone that knows what they're doing and has access to a good machine shop that will work to a given spec...
Only time I'll use silicone is when there's no gasket required, if there's a gasket I use Permatex #4 or #5, as Hvy suggested 3Bond 1207b is my RTV of choice, it's a little exe but is a brilliant product.
Makes a lot of sense to me...... <sarc>
reach for the key turn it, stop before you turn it all the way then press a button.... :nono:
Only way I'd consider it is with keyless entry/start like a modern car.
He may very well be a Dick but knock off the kiddie speak text bullshit this isn't your phone....:nono:
Bit of a "clue" your "information" isn't exactly new or groundbreaking.
