A big MAF sensor shits all over a MAP system for accuracy in all conditions as it's actually measuring ALL of the air entering the engine and adding the precise quantity of fuel needed and not as JJ points out "guessing".
Can't use that style of clamp on a pushlock fitting, the barb will slice into the hose causing a spectacular failure.
Correct size hose and fittings and the correct Oil/Fuel resistant hose is needed to do the job correctly, never had one fail in 30 years of using pushlock after the first...
And the OP never mentioned ANYTHING about having the block bored so why does he need to ensure they have a torque plate.
