Seems to be an inbetween size I sort of remember the GE/blue ones being a LOT smaller.
(don't have one handy to measure I gave it away awhile back to a bud in need)

Very odd, it "looks" like a GTE Alternator other than the distance across the mounts.
Sorry I don't have one here to measure up, I know the later Cruiser alts were bigger as I used one on my 7M.
(FJ80 from memory, you just swap the GTE pulley on and grab a patch lead from Ashdown or splice...
Dunno, can't see them using a single clutch across the range unless it's only an internal change, as you noted the 7 and 10 blade fans are very different load wise.
Blowby will ALWAYS end up in the crankcase>PCV>Intake.......
If the PCV system can't handle the volume produced it will either push the dipstick out on boost or in bad cases push the front or rear main seals out.
Finished "Under the Dome" if you liked the uncut version of King's "The Stand" you'll love "UTD" it was brilliant, I'll be rereading it in a month or so!
GTE is orange and MUCH bigger in the alloy section than the Blue GE one.
I bought one from Toyota a couple of years back and it still had the large body.

It's us$4.90 a gallon here at the moment!
(costs me us$148 to fill the fat car, last year it was $184 and probably will be again by the time I get mine running again)
