The stock PCV stsem doesn't cope well with increased blowby, I enlarged all of mine to allow more flow after noticing the dipstick trying to escape on a fairly fresh engine and had minimal leakdown figures, all this isn't helped by short skirt forged pistons with narrow rings.

Never owned a GTE Adaptor ALL of my engines always got a full flow cooler set up so wasn't aware that's how Toyota plumbed it...

It's a suppressor just buy a new one they're cheap, that ones a failure waiting to happen with the brittle insulation..
Denatured alcohol then wash it out one of the rubber drain plugs, repeat a couple of times till the alcohol stays cleanish then mop up the bulk with shop rags and let it air dry.
