i bought all the parts second hand off of a very, very clean car. (thanks TONY!) for the underside, use P.O.R. 15. it's the best! your best bet is to find someone parting out a car with little to no rust, and offer them fair prices for the parts. :) -shaeff

if you have a boost reference AFPR, then you shouldnt lean out... *shouldnt* lean out... that being said, i've got the following on my car: AFPR (boost reference) wallypump new lines ss braided feed/return line, FPD removed lex afm 550's new filter i have the AFPR vacuum line hooked...

heh, yeah, there's a bit of rust. the new panels will take care of MOST of it. the underbody is wicked clean. the spare tire well is bad, but that's pretty much IT for rust under the car, which i'll surely fix this summer. :) when i get a car, i become attached to it. i became attached to...

i always did it for two reasons, actually. 1) because the lights on both my vehicles are very bright, and 2) because i hate being blinded when i try to get food. i've never had anyone do it for me, though. :( oh well. perhaps one day it'll come back around... -shaeff

autozone carries fusible link wire, but i just got mine from Toyota. it cost like $5. make sure that you take the fuse box apart, and UNSCREW it from the bottom. it does NOT just pull out. -shaeff

mine's an 86.5, and is rusty. stupid road salt. anyway, it took me about an hour and a half total to replace the fuel pump... -shaeff
