Tems cars will pick up 2nd gear from a standstill so the rear doesn't squat as you pull it into drive, not sure how this is done but I'd say it's to do with the shifter quadrant so Devin might be on the right track with the mechanical linkage.
A lot of cars are coming out of Winter hibernation and promptly dropping their guts either at the track or on the Dyno!
Add what happened and what the future plan is.
Just curious to see if there's a trend that could lead to a resolution.
After managing to totally ignore this thread any others and all the hype/advertising I finally watched it last night on my 63" Plasma on Bluray with a bunch of the guys! :)
Brilliant movie and I agree best of the series so far!
Just have to remember like the previous 4 it's entertainment...
It's worth 5>8c @ 65 Mph, not sure what would happen if you kept driving as I always went home and put mine back on or bolted it up properly if the car had been to a shop for work or a bud had "helped with the assembly...
One word of warning though, they're DAMN tight on the crank, I destroyed a puller getting mine back off....
I'd fold up a strip of wetNdry paper grab a long boot lace wrap the paper around the crank snout then wrap the lace around and give it a polish up.
