    Still don't think it's possible Brad, look at the pic then consider the piston is dished in the middle where the plug is.

    There's a spot from memory right front of the engine where the HG sticks out, poke it hard with a screwdriver if it's composite you'll see easily enough.

    I did mine way back, I had to make a few of the "Special Tools" as there are a few steps that are impossible without them.

    Pretty sure with the head design it's impossible for the piston to hit the plug as it'd bottom out on the quench pads first..

    340e is limited to upshifts via paddles/buttons, you can command a downshift but until road speed matches trans speed for the next lower gear it will freewheel. Mechanical limitation of the trans.

    Try doing what I suggested above....:nono: Pull individual fuses until you isolate what is causing the drain then post back here. (hint there are a bunch inside the car by the accelerator pedal)

    Yep, if you have something drawing current and you pull it's supply fuse it will stop the draw... it's not rocket surgery...

    Try pulling fuses one by one and watch the meter, if it changes there's ya problem ;)
