Toyota have use much the same colour combinations for ALL their cars :)
Eventually you get to the point that you recognise them in a bundle and know where they're going.
There's a spot from memory right front of the engine where the HG sticks out, poke it hard with a screwdriver if it's composite you'll see easily enough.
340e is limited to upshifts via paddles/buttons, you can command a downshift but until road speed matches trans speed for the next lower gear it will freewheel.
Mechanical limitation of the trans.

Pull individual fuses until you isolate what is causing the drain then post back here.
(hint there are a bunch inside the car by the accelerator pedal)
