Had a huge soft spot for the Z cars but they always looked out of proportion to me, too long/too skinny that's why I did the steel wide body, I cut the sides off added 3" on each side and welded them back on!
Can't really go wrong with either package, from memory the Wiseco's give a little higher static comp ratio, in the past Eagle Rods were cheap Chinese junk but they've lifted their game and are usable and a cheap alternative to prepping stock Rods.
LOL'd :D
And one based on how many...
We don't have a problem with it other than beating on a car with known issues is just plain stupid.... :nono:
But it's your car I'm sure there will be 20 or so "This is broken help me" threads in your not too distant future..
Had an awesome run with my Yellow Top Optima in the Mk3, never failed to start and was discharged multiple times, it's been retired to the Tractor which can sit for months but starts first crank!

There was green paint and stripper ALL over the place when...
I mucked around with runner length, plenum volumes in about 7 different FFIM's I built, never noticed any power gains it just moved the band around and changed how the Turbo "Hit" when it came on..
Never ran a stock Intake so can't comment on on the differences there.
Moved to the Bush a bit over a year ago now, haven't seen a single Snake, EVERY other type of creepy crawly but no Snakes ;)
(I have a long handle shovel at the back door just in case though)
Can't actually hear incipient but it's doing damage, by the time it rattles hard enough to hear it's doing big damage, this is why I sit here and chuckle at people "tuning" their engines by "ear/feel"...
You might have just got a load of bad fuel it happens form time to time, rattled +...
