I'd guess it has a lower PMoI so response "should" be a little snappier but losing that amount of surface area is going to be a juggling act with turbine AR.

But seriously they're a good thing, bang some new bolts in with fresh springs and forget them, if your pressure is that low that squirter deletion is a good idea you have more pressing issues to correct.
