    double check. if they're the same, then you should be good to go. if i remember right, two of the plugs matched on the 89+ harness, but one did not, and trust me, it won't run with it unplugged. just doublecheck everying before you go through the hastle of hooking it all up. you'll save...

    you're using a '91 ECU in an '89? are the connector plugs the same color? if not, you're going to have WAY more trouble than you anticipate. the engine harness must match the year of the chassis of the car. -shaeff

    if you can't get any more adjustment out of it, you installed the CPS improperly. try this: also, remember when you set the Ignition timing, that you must have t1 and e1 jumpered in the diagnostic block. :) -shaeff

    your numbers are off, as are LEGNA's. i hit 289rwhp/ 295ft lbs tq. at 15 psi on the stock turbo, which has shaft play and chipped impeller blades... on a mustang dyno. -shaeff

    i'm with the rest of the guys. i made 289rwhp 295tq at 15psi on the stock turbo, and mine has chipped impeller blades and shaft play... you should be quite a bit above that on 1 bar. if i had a decent stock turbo on my car, i'd have easily reached 300rwhp. -shaeff

    make sure you drill out or bypass the j-tube. otherwise you'll run TOO rich. (you'll be running rich anyway with the stock base fuel pressure and an upgraded pump, but the car should still be drivable.) -shaeff

    i did the same as tubbie, but i don't suggest it. the stock pump is probably half dead, and is subject to failure at any given time. fuel starvation + boost = melted pistons. :( -shaeff

    i live for daily drivability with along with the ability to stomp on it and not have to wait for power. i like it on tap immediately. how many 1000hp + supras can be daily driven comfortably? i'm guessing not many. after i get my new turbo on and tuned, i should be over the 400whp threshold...
