i check every harness before i send it out to make sure there's no continuity between the signal wire and the ground. it's impossible that it happened, unless suprahero got the wire too hot with the soldering iron, and melted the insulation around the signal wire, thus causing a short to ground...

don't "figure" that coolant was sucked into the AFM. DIAGNOSE the problem the correct way, by checking the codes. :) use the link in my sig, below. -shaeff

^ yes, but you'll have to fiberglass shut some holes (or whatever type of sealer you wish) i removed my entire A/C system, but keep it bagged up tightly in my garage, should i ever want to replace it. i have no compressor, condensor, lines, or evaporator. it's all gone. the only things left...

spearker wire? :( use rg-58 coax sheilded cable. ;) and make sure to ground the outer wire. -shaeff

and the mkiv's w58 is stronger than the mk3's. -shaeff
