    oh snap!

yes rust free, yes that's a tony fender, and in a few weeks you'll see the rear fender cutouts from mello's yellow car welded into my car. in more ways than one, that makes me so very sad. :( -shaeff

    oh snap!

"drivable" doesn't necessarily mean daily drivable, it just means i can actually move the car and not have it on jackstands like it is currently. i still need to fabricate some IC hardpipes before it's able to be boosted. -shaeff

So THATS what it feels like.

i pull my motor to change my oil, so i'm not exactly sure what you're talking about, colin. haha. :) that being said, i browsed this thread quickly, and didn't see any mention of rear main seal leaking oil onto the clutch. it's a possibility, but then again, that might show up on the ground...

    Headlight Conversion

NSX headlights for the win: and yes, it's quite a bit more difficult than it looks. ask me how i know... or better yet, ask my radiator support how it knows. :( no, none of the above pics are of my car, though i'm getting very close to that point. ;) -shaeff

    oh snap!

haha, yeah, that's what i've been up to. i'm hoping to have it drivable by 3 weeks from now, and painted within the next two months. i'll be tuning it while it's unpainted and multi-colored, though. ;) on the road to 400+rwhp... ;) as i said before, it's this damn headlight project that's...

Exhaust manifold and turbo elbow not moving

ah, i see. if you're trying to get the turbo elbow off, heat it with a small torch, leave the turbo braces on, and give it a few taps here and there. don't really beat on it, as the head is aluminum as we all know, and you don't wanna be ripping out the exhaust manifold studs. PB blast has...

    oh snap!

oh man, you guys are killing me! it's been down since about october or so. but it was my choice to make it how it is. nothing broke to make me take it apart. i posted a thread some time ago about how rusty it is, so i'm fixing that. once i get the NSX light project out of the way (should be...

    oh snap!

at least you have another to mess with! :) these NSX headlights are killin' me! but i think i've got it all figured out. the bracket you see in that pic isn't going to be used. i've got some supplies/parts coming within the next week or so, and that should almost wrap up that project, then on...

Finally - Ebay Intercoolers with endtanks that are worth a damn

^ i was thinking of cutting my bumper support to fit my 12x24 IC, but i decided not to. i'll mount it a different way, once i get my current hold up out of the way... looks really good though! -shaeff

Front alignment bolts frozen, any tips?

^ yep. i did mine a few months ago. by far, it was the most pain in the ass job i've done on the supra. i'd rather pull 6 motors in 6 days than do that crap again. :( i used a sawzall, and a torch when i finally got fed up with it. (short bursts with the torch). i had new nylon bushings, so...

    '89+ oil pressure sending unit

no. you need an '89+ sensor. it doesn't matter whether or not the car is turbo. the OP sending units were identical between turbo and N/A. they are smaller from '89-'92. the only difference is size. the reason you need it is because jon at MDC made the kit using an '89+ oil pressure...
