nice! i didn't remember whether you said 60-1 or 60 trim, so i picked the smaller one, haha.
thanks, and i'll most certainly let you know how it goes. :) i <3 being a guinee pig! (seriously)

^ yep, well, the limit of it's efficiency. you're pretty much blowing hot air after that. it can be remedied by a larger IC, but it's still not the best thing to do.
(though, i did it for quite some time)
-shaeff
no it isn't. it's far easier, actually. read my above post.
pull the two 17mm nuts holding it to the main dash support, which will allow the wheel to drop down and rest on the driver's seat. (do this right before you're about to actually remove the dashboard)
the dash will come out right...
weird- does it have the pre '89 style plugs on it, though? (will it plug into a pre '89 ECU?)
what month in '89 was your car manufactured. this is why drjonez always says to treat '89s as their own special breed.

^ nah, just drop the column and let the whole assy sit on the driver's seat. it's 2 (17mm?) nuts. look under the column, you'll see them. no need to pull the wheel, though- that's for sure.
i've done this numerous times!

first, just grab it and try to move the arm. check if it's stuck in the open position. next, make sure it's working properly.
here's how: http://www.cygnusx1.net/Supra/Library/TSRM/MK3/manual.aspx?S=TC&P=8
(i love how it says: Never apply more than 11.4psi of pressure to the actuator. it...
for a long time, i wanted a 1pc driveshaft. now i don't. too much risk involved, methinks. i'll stick with my heavy 2 piece and aluminum flywheel.

thanks, cryo. :)

full front shot:
it's an MDC built 57mm (not 57 trim;))- equivalent to about a 60 trim, with a ball bearing cartridge. :) going on tomorrow.

heh, it certainly is. ;) the radiator support is hacked because i'm very slowly installing acura NSX popup headlights in the stock locations. :)
as of right now, yes, it's less rigid, but i have plans to strengthen it up when the install is complete.

heh, i totally forgot! the car is still on jack stands, as it has been for the last year.
you wouldn't really be able to tell much anyway, as the front fenders are off, so it's difficult to tell how much of a drop it gives. ;)
here's a pic of how the car sits now:
boost leak, or wastegate. check the wastegate first, as you don't have to crawl around to do it-
then check the pipe right off the bottom of the turbo. it's prone to cracking because it's so close to the exhaust, then the throttlebody coupler. it usually splits on the bottom, so take it off...
decided that it was time to replace the turbo gaskets since i've used them numerous times over at this point. $65 from my local dealership with my discount, can't go wrong! turbo goes back on tomorrow.
haha, i went back and looked at it when whoever said they liked the spoiler, and i was thinking: "man, i'm positive the one in the foreground was a celica..."
the one in the back is an A70. :)
