after numerous BHGs and a rebuild, then another BHG a friend of mine was tired of fixing his car. long story short his car is at tony's right now getting a MHG installed.
no doubt in any of our minds that his car will be running strong as ever after a visit to tony's shop.
my advice: just cap the line and drill a hole in the cap. easy to do, costs nothing, and you know you are as safe as you can be regarding gasoline fumes igniting as well as causing respiratory problems. (fumes into cabin)
if you are using the turbo ECU youll need to use the turbo wire harness that plugs into your ECU.
with this you will need:
CPS
COIL PACKS
AFM
TURBO IGNITOR
and thats all i can think of right now.
major caveat that i can think of ECU wise.....your NA block only has ONE knock...
just dont boost on it. drive it around for a week, when you get to half a tank fill it with good gas. keep NOT boosting until the tank is almost empy and fill it up with new gas.
cap that off as well. i dont recommend venting it "out of the engine compartment"
you probably have it down near the ground somewhere right? what happens if you were to bottom out and some sparks were created? you have gasoline vapors being vented right to near the possible source of a spark...
