make sure the connections to the battery terminals are tight. if one is loose it can "pop" off, but itll still be in contact with the battery post! so youll think its still on there good when its not.

dont over torque those bolts. i had a head rebuilt and the guy over torqued them and a few thousand miles later i ended up with a hunk of scrap aluminum in my back yard.

does it boost fine? no loss in power? as far as i know that dosnt indicate any problems. but i could be wrong. i wouldnt worry about it if you havent seen any drop in power and it idles well and otherwise runs good.
