Yes you can start it without the intercooler. You can actually drive the car without it. Your just not going to boost. Has no one ever driven there car after a hose pops off.

Stock fan clutch puts out over 3k cfm. 2200 is not even close. Also there is a few lemons guys on here. I bet there all running stock fan and having great results. Plus most of summit products tho work good and last are generally the bottom of the barrel as far as quality.

Reverse is straight cut gears with no syncros. It will grind if just jammed into reverse. If you wait a couple seconds with clutch in and then go it won't grind. If it clunking into first then something is worn.

Spal fans make fans for oem cars. And the best ones flow a lot of air. Only real good option besides stock.
