    1JZ Build..HKS...Greddy..ACT..Chrome..You Might Like It.Dont Hate :)

So I finally placed another order for me parts and they all should be arriving this week. I recieved a few of them. I have been busy with school and finals so I no time to work on the car. This week, well after tomorrow, Monday, I will start to work on it. I have the engine bay still sealed...

    Jeff's MKIII picture/progress thread

Good thinking. I would do the same thing you are doing then solder, heat shrink and loom everything when I am finished for a clean look.

    Jeff's MKIII picture/progress thread

So you are using the inline resistors to avoid wiring in an injector resistor. Good choice.

    E fan

Listen to Jetjock, he helped me learn how to fish for myself. I would have never guessed the air from my clutch fan would stall my engine and he told me about it, and after months of trying to fix it, he was right. One member on here who I respect for their knowledge.

    29lbs of boost on a 2003 Evo

That is what I mean't to say. The ECU has to be opened up to have a daughter board installed to it. How do you read what is the ECU programmed for, an EPROM read? Where do you get one of those?

    29lbs of boost on a 2003 Evo

So....the 4G is the 2JZ of four cylinders? Hmmmm. Sounds good. I was at a light, a Evo stopped and I asked what he was running. He said "27 PSI on the stock turbo." I just said "O, okay, nice." I didn't believe that for one bit but after this thread, wow. Our ECU's are flashable...

I am already ahead of you. I have my valve covers, upper and lower intake manifold and serpentine belt tensioner and throttle body all in a box ready to be sent out to be polished. I also have a box load of unused exhaust wrap and the aluminum covering to dress up my manifold and downpipe. I...

    1JZ Build..HKS...Greddy..ACT..Chrome..You Might Like It.Dont Hate :)

I will be getting that soon. I am still prepping the engine bay as you can see. I will be putting in the valve before the engine goes in because I don't want to pull the turbo off just to install the valve. It fits in the MKIII engine bay. The turbo will sit 3/4" higher but Tekedus on here...

Thanks....I plan on grinding it down smooth, fill and prime it on Saturday, then paint it on Sunday. I am also going to undercoat the underbody of the car to prevent any rust since there is none.

    1JZ Build..HKS...Greddy..ACT..Chrome..You Might Like It.Dont Hate :)

I finally got sometime to get some work done on the car. I refused to use body filler on my engine bay, so I sealed all the holes with bronze rod using the torch. I also loomed up the harness under the radiator support since the old loom was brittle. I also loomed the alternator cable that...
