A lot of 1JZ have that lean spot between 2000-3000RPM. It has been there since people started doing 1JZ swaps. Others don't have any lean spot at all. You could fix it by getting a SAFC and tuning to compensate for it.

Thanks, I am going to use bronze rod and then fill each hole. I don't like the aspect of putting filler all over the engine bay. Gas welding seems neater to me, very similar to TIG welding. Gurley, on your fuel pump relay mod, you jumped the terminals on the relay plug?
