It is not common. R series are thought to be "notchy," but I have one gear box hear that came with a Supra I bought and I can shift into and out of every gear using two fingers with barley any pressure. The car only has 86,xxx miles on it and was just being torn apart for a blow headgasket and...
Where are you in NY?

We can rebuild your gear box and yes, I have all the parts in stock at the moment....
They went back to the old style gauges which is nice but they should have kept the 2006 lights. Those looked better. I am sure that if they did some tuning through the OBD and made the maps a little more aggressive along with cats taken out and an air filter, that 5.0 would hit 500HP really easy.
Make one mistake on SupraForums and you get chewed alive. On here, it is the samething, but there is more sarcasm too it. I hate all the cheap owners of MKIII's who give the rest of us who spare no needed expense to get our cars running and running right.
Good job Kenny, seems to be the...
I don't consider myself the average MKIII owner, if you were implying that. I don't go to autozone and try to cheap my way out of doing anything. The features it has such as MPH, I won't use. For data logging I am not going to use as I have a AEM waiting to go in. If it can use stock...
I have been doing some research on the AIM dash and it does not seem to be worth it as much. Here is my reasoning,
http://www.pegasusautoracing.com/productdetails.asp?RecId=5094 Dash $719.00 One Temperature Sensor
http://www.pegasusautoracing.com/productdetails.asp?RecID=5220 Oil Pressure...
The dash you are talking about, do I have to buy sensors? For 750, I did not see anything about sensors? I like the AIM dash but it says nothing about getting sensors to record data.
Use only Toyota Coolant. Do not use synthetic to break in an engine, use regular conventional motor oil. Drive it normally with some hard acceleration but do not go wide open throttle from a stop light. Ring will seal but don't drive it like your grandma would. Before starting your engine...
So you are saying the Sport-Comp and Elite gauges are the crappy ones?
I know they are not cheap. I read about the Sport-Comp gauges being bad quality on the Evo forums. I am ordering their new Peak/Warning Pro-Comp Ultra Light series gauges....
The stock 7M fuel rail is good for up to 1000HP. Ask Duane, he will tell you.
OP, if you have the fund, get a Maft Pro. It will make your life easier if you want to eliminate the AFM and run speed density.
If you don't have the funds at the moment, get a used AFM, a stock one, unless you...
+1
I was going to say this first.
Second, the Subaru's have a constant ground and power on the starter but is the soleniod on it? I know Ford like to have a seperate soleniod that is not on the starter, like the Ford Tempo. There should be a signal sent to the soleniod to kick on when...
The pilot bearing is the bearing that goes inside of the crankshaft. The throwout bearing is the one that is on the input shaft. So, if the one that is on the crank is stuck on the input shaft, then maybe it was the wrong one, slightly smaller, and there was no grease on the input shaft when...
