Yeah, the Hex head port will work and the "7M" plate under the oil filter is a pressure port.

If you ground both ends, then it doesn't insulate any more. The whole thing is that you have a grounded "sheath" around the signal wire so no interferance can get in. If you ground both sides then it's just a 2 conductor wire, and RF can get right in.

Allan, won't that surge tank point your "throttle body" or pipe.. so to speak up into your hood when mounted on a 7m?

HPF has one. But if you just purchase a gerneral install RMFK from summit, that will work fine. Just order one for a 5.slow mustang and you should be fine. the thread pitch you want to make it thread into the 7m block is 3/4"X16 I believe. And make sure it has some pretty tight 90s comming off...
