    Apexi intake

I highly reccomend the K&N FIPK, it has much more surface area than the Apex unit. Also, I reccomend www.horsepowerfreaks.com They simply have THE BEST customer service and support. They'll match prices too! About the "drilling the afm" That is a pretty bad description of what you...

    Rod Knock

We have low oil pressure at idle. This is ok because we have 29 bearings in the motor plus a turbo sucking lots of lube from the pump. Once the motor reaches 1500-2000, however, the pressure should begin to climb up to the relief valve's set rpessure of 40 psi. With proper tolerances, you...

    Flex Plate

WOW, apparently, they are somewhere around $600.00!!!!! I'd just pick your desired stall RPM and go aftermarket. To replace it, you'll need to drop the tranny, and remove the six bolts that hold it to the flex plate. Not too hard, just two simple steps. ;)

    NOVICE drag runs

1Tuffsupra, What you are saying is very true as far as numbers go. But Steve is right. BTW, my friend greg runs 1.6 60 ft in a front drive civic hatch... when they put water out, I go around it, and heat up street tires dry. the water box works best for treadless/ drag radial tires. but stock...

    temp controled elec fan q.

Agreed. The AC fan uses the temp switch on the thermostat neck to turn on the auxiliary fans when the ac is on, AND when the temp is over 160-170. If you use this ground for a simple relay to control your fan Then the fan will turn on only when the temperature reaches 165 degrees or so. I have...

    turbo seals?

Rings... Or the compressor seal is leaking. I'd get a mechanical vaccum gauge and use it to diagnose the condition of your motor. There's a tech page around here that tells how to read a vaccum gauge to tell if your valve stem seals are leaking, an intake manifold leak, worn rings, etc. A comp...
