Thanks S90t, it's nice to have the no boost backup. I actually bolted a gutless CT (really easy to make with a dead ct and some long bolts/ washers) and drove it hard. but boost on a new motor is a bad thing. IMO.

I think Toyotas F1 motor has em beat. ;) and isn't it an ls6, not 7?

yeah, go bomz. Then you can upgrade to a real k&n for $40 JBL has the PN for a nice 3" universal cone filter. I believe it's RC-4190 or something close to that.

Is that HPF goliath I see hanging under there? I'm not a personal fan of the Evo front end, or is that a modified do-luck type 2? But it looks very clean, and very nice. :) Although you need a huge intercooler now ;)
