yes and no. the volume of air is there, but the pressure isnt there. and as theres alot of suction on the intake side of the turbo, it will suck the air back out of the system post ic to pre ic.
For the IAC yes and no. if your still running the stock AFM, you cant, as it will let in unmetered air and run like crap. its really just a bypass for when the throttle plate is closed, to give you fast idle when cold. if your running speed density (MAFT pro, VPC) you can run a breather on it,
noise in the head at low rpm.... i think all 7ms have noisy heads, atleast in my experiance. could be alot of things, but could be a slight exaust leak casued by a 20 year old exaust gasket and exuast manifold bolts/studs backing out. also if you have an exaust leak at the manifold, it could...

i replaced mine with the banjo and line already on the turbo, and durring re-install we just put it back on the block
i do all bolts just a few turns in so its all still loose, and that normaly give you the slack you need.
