Kenny got a standalone. I was going to PM him about a guy having one for sale since I knew he was looking for one, but them I saw he already paid for it. LOL! Talk about being alert and for a old geezer too, good job. :D
It is not chrome, it is polished. :D
Had them sent to me from a guy in Japan on SupraForums. :). They look different but fit though. It is one if those things, designed changed but the hoses still fit and work perfectly. Just test fitted.
Hopefully, my turbo side gets finished tomorrow...
So I went to install my turbo setup today. Had fitment issues that pissed me off. Had to widen some holes to get it to fit. That took two hours, every fucking hole had to be widen and fixed.
Got that done, then I went to put the QSV on and I had to widen the manifold ports so the valve would...
Made one last post in the SP section on SupraForums to see if I get a response from Ried about pricing the package and if I can get a universal harness.
Gurley, your friend used a pin kit or a universal harness to wire in his JZ? I really want a harness so I can have new wires again. My 1JZ...
I was going through the parts I have and I looked at the short shifter. I have a C-Short Shifter! No wonder when I drove the car into the shop, I was trying to force the car into first and it was already in first and shifting to second was super short. Nice!
Today
I was busy so I did not get any work done but I unpacked some of my parts to get them ready for tomorrow and here are more polished parts pictures. Hopefully I can get the engine bay finished, it is has been long overdue.

I get what you are saying but I believe Aaron was trying to explain that he would not want to take that chance. OEM systems are extremely different than the aftermarket. They spend millions fine tuning their computers to compensate for everything. That is the reason why your car starts fine...
Make a mark on the flywheel and the clutch plate in the same spot with white out when all the holes are lines up. Install the gearbox and line those up and you will be fine.
You can also look through both inspection holes, when one hole is lined up on each side, all will be lined up.
AEM V2 is actually supposed to be good on safety features. I spoke to Aaron about it and he said it can stop ignition if fuel pressure drops or oil pressure too. Also, it has boost control and preventative features for that as well. It should be getting updates to do a flex fuel setup like...
Clutch is bolted on the flywheel when the engine is in the car? I have never seen anyone install the gearbox this way and I don't believe it can be done.
You need to put the pressure plate inside the bellhousing on the input shaft and then put the clutch plate on the input shaft and then put...
Gave up on ProEFI after trying to contact Larry a million times. I asked him about it, he listed options and I said which ones, never got back to me after that. E-Mail and Calls went unanswered so I quit.
Seems as if they think you are cheap because you have an MKIII.
