Won't a bad MAF throw a code? As for the intercooler pipes, just pressurize them.
And if you have gas in the oil, you've got a few more problems than just poor acceleration.

I've seen fans like flex-a-lite setups or permacool setups that just don't even come close to what a good condition clutch fan will move.

Only reason I'd ever upgrade my stock throttle body is if I used 3" intercooler piping.. No reason to use a 3" throttle body when I'm only using 2.5" piping.
