It's just a simple relay to turn the fan on and off. The signal is when the resistance is reached by the water temperature heating a probe.
You could always get one from summit. http://www.summitracing.com/parts/prm-18905 I just installed this kit on my brothers 91 camaro. Red wire is power...
Hmm available parts.. Replacement body panels would be nice.
I'd like to see some aftermarket kits made to change the rear end is wanting to. Such as ford rear end swaps. Head light kits would be nice to see as well. I know there are some suspension swaps like upper control arms that are...
nah it can't be, I have nfi what I'm talking about. its impossible for a restriction to cause pressure to be easily maintained.
the same is made anytime you use a water hose. pinch the end of the hose and pressure increases.. damn you Bernoulli.
Really? Marvel me with your knowledge oh wise one.
Actually, I'll leave this here since I have NFI what I'm talking about. Flow is directly related to the opposite of pressure. In other words, if something flows more the pressure will decrease and the exact opposite.
The stock system is able...
the new wastegate won't keep it from dropping off in the higher rpm.
its lack of flow around the wheel. you could weld the waste gate shut and it'll still fall off at higher rpm.
Compressor wheel might be close to the same size but the turbine wheel is more than likely much bigger.
The compressor side of the ct26 isn't the downfall, it's the turbine side.
CT26 can't flow enough to maintain boost pressure on a high flow setup.(Full exhaust and bigger intercooler/hardpipe)
The reason it was able to keep PSI to within 1 was all the restrictions in the stock piping, more restrictions=more pressure.
Well, if it doesn't rise like its stupid til the car actually starts to get warm.. Two and two almost need to be put together.
Measure the resistance of the gauge sensor and the ecu temp sensor. I believe they're the same sensor so they should give the same readings.
You could always swap...
Why the downsizing? Looking for a bit more response?
Wait, is that the same turbo you sold me? I'm curious to see how it'll perform so I've got comparable numbers.
I like how they don't have any material call outs on the description. They don't say whether it's heat treated or anything. They're very long winded in describing themselves as well. As a matter of fact, none of that ad at all has ANYTHING to do with the part except the condition says 'new'
Oh fun stuff, I do this in my supra. It pisses off my neighbor something fierce but he always calls the cops on me anytime I start my four wheeler. Whats fun with the GTE is short shifting in the rain and feeling the car go sideways at low RPMs in 3rd. I was looking at the car next to me before...
