This thread is painful because its about a MkII motor in the 7m turbo tech section. Unless you have a MkII, you have no need for that motor, and it would be a waste of money.

Bilstien's have three settings for where you can set the lower spring perch. I put both front and rear on the lowest ones. It definitely lowered the car. With a stock replacement shock, like Monroe, or some of that other cheap junk, I'd say you're right, depending on how the shock was made...

One cylinder was full of coolant, and stopped the piston. Water/coolant doesn't compress. Hopefully, the exhaust valves opened and let it out, but more than likely it pushed past the rings and went in the oil pan, or was forced back out through the head gasket. I'd rotate each piston up, and...

The front doesn't look right at all. On stock suspension, the rake should be higher in the back, lower in the front(at least, mine was). Looks like someone put the wrong shocks in the front. I have Bilstien's and stock springs, and it still sits lower in the front than the back by 1/2". 87 n/a

If it's on cyl.6, and goes toward the back of the head, it's for the egr. Clean it out really good if you're going to use the egr(along with the rest of the egr system). If not, thread that hole and put a plug in there.

Sounds like the old master cylinder was leaking into the vacuum booster. You might be able to find a used one in the f/s section.

The one before the rear wheels is a resonator. I cut mine out, put a Magnaflow glass pack there, and a 2 chamber flow where the stock muffler goes with 2.5 pipe

A level from the hardware store can have a .045" bow over 4 ft., and still be level. It sure would throw off trying to measure the block, though.

Turn the motor so that bolt is up where the starter goes. Might give you more room to work there.

I have a 24" glass pack on my Supra in place of the resonator. Put a 2 chamber Flow Master out on the end. Nice and quiet, and still performs well.

You should be able to see light through it, yes. If you can knock a lot of dust out of it, or its been a while, I'd change it anyway. Cheap maintenance. If you had a K&N or the like, I would suspect it for whistling. The split intake hose will give you idle and drivability issues, as it will...

You might check for a dirty air filter as well. You don't have one of those "Tornado" things, do you?

Pull the fuel pump relay, and spin the car over for a minute or 2.

You need to sand them with maybe 600 so the paint has a rough surface to stick to. May want to check out the Bull Dog Adhesion Promoter at O'Riellys as well.

Hmmm..... I'm kind of confused by the above pics. Is he actually moving the cams so that the pin holes to the right or left are pointing up, or just moving the pins and gears around with the center cam hole pointing up(or close)?

Where do you get those springs?
