    The stock wipers are good. What makes them and any wiper suck are unclean windscreens. You need to have at the thing once or twice a year with Bon Ami, similar, or an actual glass polish to get the road film off. Cerium oxide if necessary.

    The load signal is one of two (other is speed) that are critical Ken. Can cause all sorts of drive-ability and mixture problems. Look for a code 31.

    The guy in post #7 who hacked his CSI is from Atlanta. As for not having it the EFI system performs asynchronous injection when starting which can often compensate for the lack of a CSI especially in warmer climates.

    Not to be picky but in this case the process is adsorption. Activated charcoal is used because of its huge surface area versus size.

    Although Redline is a good choice the fact remains such applications are tough on any oil. Compounding this there's not much of it. Therefore it's still going to need changing on occasion.

    The problem is a "stuck" open stat would not make the engine run cooler. That you seem confused about how the cooling system works (fwiw you're far from alone) makes it that much more difficult to resolve the issue from afar.

    Emissions aside it should be obvious that venting paid for fuel overboard, even as vapor, rather than combusting it is dumb. Especially at today's prices. Gotta have that clean engine bay to impress, well, someone though. Not sure who.
