Yes, you need copper washers. EDIT: Correction, copper washer are only used on the turbo feed line that uses a banjo bolt to bolt onto the turbo itself. They supply a gasket for the flange that bolts to the block. If you used that gasket they supplied, and it's tightened enough I can't...

If you turn your own wrenches and have another beater for a DD then it's worth keeping. If you're paying someone else to fix your car, and it is your DD then no. I take it you don't work on your own car according to how much you've spent on doing repairs, and what all you did to it.
