Isn't that just the resistor? I don't think they were integrated later. The 90 model I've worked on has a separate relay, and so does my 87. The relay should be bolted right there by it, unless someone moved it.

Yes, there are headers available. From certain vendors, they are a direct fit. Think it was 935motorsports. Otherwise, they require some modification to fit and function correctly.

Take the cams, head, and caps to the machine shop, and get it assembled there. Tell them exactly what's going on, and they can fix it. I have seen cams snapped because the caps where in the wrong place, installed backwards, or not torqued correctly. Better safe than sorry....

Grounds hooked up? There are some ground leads on the 7m harness that bolt to the intake. Seems people like to put them on the starter. They should be brown, iirc, and have an eyelet on them. Think there's 3 wires on one eyelet. This can get way beyond me as far as the wiring is...
