    7MGE ITBs

lol, when I was a kid, my older brother(small engine guru) modified our old 10hp. riding mower. It'd do around 30 mph in high gear. I'm not sure what he did to it(think he changed the sprockets), but it sure was fun... Yeah, we're a little crazy...

    Pic request- 7M fuel relay

Isn't that just the resistor? I don't think they were integrated later. The 90 model I've worked on has a separate relay, and so does my 87. The relay should be bolted right there by it, unless someone moved it.

    Tailgating

Meh, doesn't bother me much. I spent a few years living in Weehawken, N.J., and either worked in or drove through N.Y.C. quite a bit. There, you better be tailgating, or you'll get cut off. Most of that part of NJ is the same way. Houston is getting that way, as well... Most of the time...

    7MGE ITBs

Just stay away from those Chinese made go-karts that seem to be cropping up everywhere. My nephew has had one with electrical problems, and one that snapped the rear swing arm, on both sides. He got his first(old, Briggs motor) go kart at 4, his first dirt bike at 5, his four-zinger at 6(that...

    Cant get Fuel!

I thought you were supposed to remove the fuel pump resistor when you switched to a Walbro pump, as it needs constant 12v, and will burn up with the 9v the resistor supplies under certain conditions?

Lights dim when i hit the brakes.

I've had problems with the grounds in the tail light housings coming loose, but that usually kills the tail/brake lights. I use a larger battery than stock, and the alternator off an auto. 89 turbo. Iirc, it has a little higher output, and is able to keep a better charge on the battery. I...

    Tranny fitting/bracket

Hmm... This one sits flat the way it is. It's also off set to one side, as well as front to back. It'd be easy to get it backwards. Can you post a pic or two of your's to compare?

Coolant leaking from metal cap under alternator

Why would someone use anything but a metric sized plug in a metric motor? You can get them at O'Riellys and A.Z. Napa, too, I think

    Headers

Yes, there are headers available. From certain vendors, they are a direct fit. Think it was 935motorsports. Otherwise, they require some modification to fit and function correctly.

    No Spark

You could start here: http://cygnusx1.net/Supra/Library/TSRM/MK3/manual.aspx?S=IG&P=1 It's the ignition circuit section of the TSRM for the 91 Supra. Not sure if there are any changes between that and the 87. Don't have the book here to look at.

    Distributor shock!?

I wear nitrile gloves at work anyway, to keep all the oil and crap off my hands. As far as keeping you from getting shocked, I don't know if they add enough insulation, and not gonna grab a wire to find out. Should make my hand a little less conductive, though. Electricity is kind of like...

    Cam Caps

Take the cams, head, and caps to the machine shop, and get it assembled there. Tell them exactly what's going on, and they can fix it. I have seen cams snapped because the caps where in the wrong place, installed backwards, or not torqued correctly. Better safe than sorry....

Coolant leaking from metal cap under alternator

I see freeze plugs that leak all the time. It's usually due to corrosion/rust(from the inside, out), due to people running straight water, or very little coolant and mostly water, or electrolysis from faulty grounds. Easy fix, as stated. There is a tool made just for installing them. The...

    Distributor shock!?

lol. Been there, done that. Adjusting distributors to set the timing. I wear rubber gloves, and make sure I'm not too close to the wires, now. Bet you won't check the wires with the car running again...

    No Spark

Grounds hooked up? There are some ground leads on the 7m harness that bolt to the intake. Seems people like to put them on the starter. They should be brown, iirc, and have an eyelet on them. Think there's 3 wires on one eyelet. This can get way beyond me as far as the wiring is...

    Tranny fitting/bracket

Doh! Sorry, I forgot to get them yesterday. I was working on something else for Ma70.Ent. I'm headed to the shop this afternoon to fix my Revo, so I'll get a pic of the manual cross member for you. It won't be installed, as I've got most of that stuff stripped out of my project car. I'll...
