I've tried 10-30w and tranny fluid on several vehicles over the years. I like tranny fluid because it goes in easier, and motor oil seemed to thick, and bind the cable a bit.
The backup light wire(s) will only effect the backup lights.
check the wiring diagrams on this site to locate what you need

You brake master cylinder may be bad. There are 2 seals in it, 1 for the front, 1 for the rears.
A reman from carquest (or whoever) is about $75 w/abs...$85 w/o abs
New is about $200 w/o abs.
There is a switch on the high pressure line that runs along the top of the frame on the passenger side in the engine compartment under the afm straight out from the back of the power steering pump.
(did you like that long sentence?)
I just unplugged the connector and made a little jumper...
If your a/c compressor runs, (defrost or cooling down you) and it shuts off, the freon can make a hissing sound under the dash as the high and low side 'equalize'.
The heater core can make a hissing sound if there is a "tiny" bit of air in it.
Long drives is when a BHG will show up most times. (Mine)
Around town the trips are short, and any coolant blown over to the bottle will get sucked back into the engine.
I drove mine for 3 months before I finally tore it down last year.
Did you mill the block when you put the metal HG on...
I'm not thinking BHG. You would NOT have any coolant in the intake system.
I'm thinking ISC, or throttle body. Why you ask ??
Those are the only 2 places coolant can get into the intake system.
The ISC & throttlebdy have coolant lines running to (thru) them. Perhaps one has sprung a...
1) the coating inside the intake is normal on all engines, and comes from:
a) PCV system b) EGR system
Clean all the insides with carb spray, and the holes and ports too. Mine was that way, and I have NO blowby issues.
I see this coating every day at the shop. We offer an "induction...
Reading Napa's advertisements, they showed the various parts of a tierod end, and why it is better than Toyota (and all OEMs).
I would not worry about putting them on 'my' car. :biglaugh:
Get some tranny cooler hose 3/8" while you're at it, for the return hose.
My return hose sprung a leak 3 months after I replaced the rack.
Bad timing to, middle of nowhere, 3pm on a Wed after noon before Thanksgiving. 200 miles from destination. Found some old air tool hose from a guy...
Its possible that the 'depth' of the sealing part of the caps are different.
my '89, and all others that I've seen use a cap that fits a 'deep' neck. There are radiators that have a 'shallow' neck, and thus need a different cap for it.
I've had cars in the shop that had the shallow neck...
6mm bolts (10mm socket to tighten). Any parts house will have some. Home Depot too. Use a lock washer and a fender washer on each one.
WAY cheaper than Toyota dealer.
The ignition switch is the electrical part. The lock part turns the electrical part with 'stem' thing on the end (inside).
The tumblers are wore out on yours. And probably the key too. You can take the new lock to a lock shop and have it keyed to match the doors.
