    yeah, get the 1jz efi wiring diagram and check continuity of the 3 map sensor wires using your multimeter set to ohms.

    i've used a 3sgte map on my 1j, worked perfect. either your map is bad, or the wiring to the map is bad. or.....your ecu. it's not hard to check, it's just 3 wires from the ecu to the map basically.

    welcome to the site. and to answer your questions, if the top of the shock has a cover with wires, then you do have adjustable suspension. the switch for it is right near the shifter. what it does is adjust the dampening. also, yeah, the gte has a stock boost gauge in the cluster. good luck...
