better fuel and timing maps, rev limit varies. some tuned ecus retain the stock rev limit, some have an increase.
also some ecus are programmed for bigger injectors. i had a blitz tuned for 550s.
the last blitz and mine's ecus i've owned were all tuned for stock injectors and had an 8k...
Does anyone know where I can get an intake pipe for my single kit? I'd like to just buy something that fits well with no mods, and has two ports that I can route a hose for my iscv and pcv. Also what size filter should I get? I've been looking at the aem dryflow 4"x9", anybody running that...
you will need motor mount brackets from a JZX81 or JZX90, and if that 2JZGE you're getting has a rear sump oil pan, you will need to swap it out with a front sump pan.
Also if that W58 came out of a MKIV supra, then you're going to have to do something about the shifter. On my friend's...

hydrofan wiring diagram can be found here:

For the hydrofan, the only wires that tie into the actual harness are power, ground...
the 2jz tsrm says to use an ohmmeter and put one lead to the terminal of the knock sensor and the other lead to the body of the sensor.
no continuity = pass
continuity = fail
That depends on what kind of injectors you're using. Stock injectors won't have a resistor box. Now if you're using low impedance injectors like the US MKIV ones, then yeah, there would be a resistor.
it's located on the intake manifold nearest the firewall, has a 6-pin connector plugged into it, and an air pipe hooked up that runs across the rear of the valve cover.
I agree with rob.
Two of my friends had their ISCVs go bad, and the idle would fluctuate anywhere from about 500-3000 rpm. you should get a high idle upon startup and it should fall back down within a few minutes, so it doesn't sound like you have anything to worry about.
on my stock ecu i was getting incredibly shitty gas mileage. i used a whole tank to go to dallas, which is about 250 miles.
on my sard ecu it only takes half a tank to go 250 miles.
i avg about 24-25 mpg.
that happened to me before. I just ran a jumper wire from pin #1 of the small igniter plug to the terminal on the backside of the gauge cluster for the tach to test.
yeah, take out the idle speed control valve and use a ratchet wrench to remove the bolts for the rear cam position sensor.
a magnet helps with putting the bolts back when you reinstall the sensor.
