I also have been having that problem. Sometimes while driving the car will buck and the tach will flicker. The CEL also comes on whenever that happens and I'm getting a code 14. Tried a different igniter but that didn't fix it. I'll go through the ignition circuit and try a different ECU later...

yeah, a jzx81 (chaser, mark II, cresta) harness only has 3 connectors that go to the ecu. the 4th connector (22 pin) is integrated into the dash harness. you would have to modify it pretty extensively to get it to work in an a70 chassis.
I'm assuming you're using a 2JZ aristo harness? If it's anything like a usdm 2JZ harness in terms of fusebox and dash connectors, then it really isn't all that difficult.
