115 lbs? I call shenanigans. I dont know anyone lighter than my 126 lbs.
Anyways I'm a weak fellow too, but I have taken off my hood by myself twice and put my Miata's top up with one hand at 60 mph multiple times so...I dont really want anyone complaining about that sort of thing
15 years old. Bought it March 12th, 2005
It was my DD for half of a year before buying another turbo Supra.
Currently undergoing work to once again become my DD
If that isnt, I dont know what will. Granted that it did not have the audible portion that is also necessary, it uses credible sources and real world science.
IIRC its 50 lbs. Regardless, thats a heavy sumbitch to be taking off by yourself if you are a scrawny pathetic human like m'self...
Running a 1UZ on 87 is probably safer than on a 7M. Also, 15 mpg means either you need a tuneup or you drive it too hard to be complaining about gas prices :biglaugh:
As was mentioned, carbon likes to negatively affect the combustion chamber. It likes to retain heat and act like a glow plug...
I shuddered multiple times at most of this thread. I couldnt imagine putting in 87 in a turbo (in an N/A, no doubt 87 is the way to go) on anything with more than minor mods. I know that if you can pull off 87 in a turbo and maintain a healthy engine, your car is well maintained and you are an...
Now THAT is fucking hot. 89+s have one of the best side profiles of any car ever. I also like the dark trim on it to give it more character; especially as an opposite color; white/black, blue/yellow (I want to shop that and see how it comes out).
Are you referring to how tiny my tires are? 205/40/16 :biglaugh:
They are brand new I bought for the Miata before I decided the Supra would be a much better DD. I'm not going to put them to waste so I'm putting them on the Supra. It looks dumb, I know. Traction will be an issue as well.
I'm...
I really think for some reason, painted sawblades look weird on 89+s.
I really like how Suprageezer's came out as well. "Toyota" color matched with the car...red would be pretty.
Like I said earlier, my DD has had one for over a year. Aluminum is better at dissipating heat, and except for taking off, I wouldnt be slipping it much because I know how to drive with it. I just think going from 18 lbs to 8.3 was a tad big of a jump as a DD and if I had a choice, I'd prefer 10...
Mine are like that too. The steering column switch puts them up, then a switch under the dash turns them on. I do not think my fogs are functional at all.
Wow, I didnt realize how stupid it looked to have a crossflow FMIC but stock intake manifold. I think if I were to spend the money to change the intercooler, I'd get a FFIM as well..
Turn off the car; when its time to go, put it in first, turn on the car and give it a bit of gas; whatever throttle position you want it at while taking off.
After my slave cylinder went out on my DD, I drove a month without using the clutch :sarcasm:
I've impressed quite a few people by telling them that. "How the hell did you get around?!" When I came to a complete stop, I'd shut the engine off. When I switched gears, I rev-matched and let the...
