    Fuel Feed Line Size

No, the OEM size is not 3/8" ID. The size is likely 10mm in ID. 3/8" is approximately 9.525mm. I realize metric hose is hard to come by at a parts store. 3/8" fuel line will likely do the job you need it to do if you are looking at repairing a fuel line.

So you are frustrated with your workload and having to answer the phones? Was this the intended thread for that post?

    Distilled water!!!

I believe a one main reason coolant is still suggested in a road racing application is that it raises the boiling point of the mixture vs pure water. However, running more coolant pressure also raises the boiling point. You are better off using an anti-freeze/water mixture though because of...

Well the supra is running again but I still have that bog after 3k rpm

What is BDC? Thats a pretty "hick" way of asking what the ignition timing is in degress before top dead center(BTDC).:icon_bigg Check the TSRM, there is a procedure for checking the ignition timing, however if you are at 13 degress BTDC like you have said, on a warm idle it sounds like you are...

Great looking build. Those wheels are insanely wide.

    Distilled water!!!

That is a great explanation. Funny how many people will look at you like you are retarded when you say water does not conduct electricity, yet it is them that are wrong... One small thing you didn't mention is that minerals inside tap water can cause more erosion over time and probably will...

    92nsx's supra build

What exhaust system do you have? There is supposed to be two rubber rings on each of the rear-most brackets. I don't think putting both rubber rings on the rear-most bracket will do much for you. I believe there should be two hangers on the muffler for the rear-most hanger, one rubber ring...

    SySt's Build up

I put my exhaust system back on my car today. Since I had to remove the steering link to remove it, I decided to take a picture of the link where the rubber "boot" on it contacts the header. I have decided to just remove the rubber "boot".

    SySt's Build up

According to Mike Donohue, an LS1 with T56 is no more than about 540lbs. According to another member here, the 7M with R154 with all accessories, mounted on a pallet is about 775lbs. Assuming those numbers are accurate, my swap alone saved about 225lbs.:aigo: For whats its worth, my car is...

    New Carbon Fiber Goodies...Take a look ;)

Those parts are awesome. I am definitly interested in the cowl and headlight covers. 89+ trim in carbon fiber would be awsome.

    RTV on dipstick

Thats fine. Just make sure you don't put too much on the dips stick tube(sheath).

    SySt's Build up

I'll post up my scale results as soon as I get them. For what it's worth, the LS6 with T56 is something like 20 pounds lighter than a 7M-GTE with R154. Of course, that doesn't include the intercooler, piping and other misc. stuff related to the 7M.

Oil in plug valley, replacing hex bolts

Correct me if i'm wrong but doesn't the "3rd valve cover gasket" help keep the spark plug valley dry? You really don't want anything such as water getting down there, it could cause a miss.

I took my exhaust system off today and welded the O2 sensor bungs on. I haven't welded in over a year and was never a professional but I got it done, just a little ugly. I have the O2 sensors on order from www.oxygensensors.com and once they get here we'll see what kind of improvement they...

    SySt's Build up

The headers I am using are off of a CTS-V. It seems to be ok running that close to the steering shaft. Good luck getting any other header to fit. I made my own engine harness. To fit the T56 in you have cut the transmission mount out of the unibody structure on the left side. The...

    SySt's Build up

As a matter of fact I have never really even driven a V8 sports car before. I hope to have the O2 sensor issue figured out in the next week or so. The 3k lbs figure with me in it is very optimistic. I should be quite light though as my car is completely gutted aside from front seats, the...

Ryan's 92 build thread aka NashMan

I like your front bumper support. What are the specs on the materials used? How do you fasten the front bumper support on to it? More pictures would be cool.

    SAFC Without Wideband

I agree on keeping it. You can get a digital guage and LC-1 setup from Innovate for about $230, so it's not too expensive. If all you are going to do is lean out the WOT you really won't need any other fuel modifications.

    Changing Engine Mounts

It has been a while since I have worked on a 7M. I do beleive all you have to do is support the engine and remove the mount. You may have to removed the mount bracket along with the mount. I can see it being a pain to get at everything from the top without removing the downpipe so you may...

Are you suggesting wrapping the exhaust pipe so to insulate it? Any reason you would choose to do that over wrapping the clutch line with some sort of thermal reflective wrap? Any specific products you suggest using?
