    Oil pressure sender connector

Thats pretty much what I wanted to hear. It's not like it'll do any harm if it works loose and becomes disconnected... Well, no harm to the car. Might give me a heart attack.

    Oil pressure sender connector

I have a 2002 GM LS6 in my Supra... The sender is an OEM style 7M-GTE sender. I could probably modify a spade connector to work, but I think the OEM one was a little different.

    Oil pressure sender connector

I need to connect my oil pressure sender back up, however I do not have the OEM connector. Any recommendations? Should I just buy a pigtail for the connector from Toyota?

    SySt's Build up

I finally got around to wiring up the signal for the cooling fan relay from the PCM. So now my cooling fan should (Haven't tested yet) turn on and off automatically. I also found out I made a big mistake when rewiring my car. All of my documentation was on paper and I lost it. So I had to...

    Supra Tattoo

Wow, hateful bunch :icon_surp. Actually, I have had this tattoo for 3+ years now. It just occurred to me last night to post it and I happened to have the picture on my computer. I can't imagine why I'd ever regret getting the tattoo as it is easy to cover up and i've been obsessed with Supras...

    SySt's Build up

I decided to post up an update. I have the "firewall" for the fuel cell welded in the car. I just have to make some sort of quick release cap for the top to make re-fueling possible.

Fall Minnesota SupraSport Meet - September 26th

I'd love to come but I won't be able to make it out. Too much work and school to worry about. Not to mention my Supra is no quite where I want it.

    Intercooler Refreshing?

In theory you could run some solvents through your stock intercooler to rid it of contaminents such as oil. However, if you were to pay a shop to do such work as well as pay for straightening the fins you may as well of just payed for the hardpipe intercooler setup you are talking about getting...

    compession diffences

JDub has obviously never dealt with a budget build. As I have stated, the N/A engine does make a larger compression ratio. I can not vouch for whether or not that is all due to piston differences. However, You may be able to advance the ignition to help make up for the power losses of...

    compession diffences

Can you state for a fact that advancing the timing would not add more power or throttle response? If not, why not withdraw your statement? You certainly did not quote the OP.

    compession diffences

I would venture a guess advancing the timing a little would help. No it would not make up for the loss in compression. Yes I realize it is more than "slapping" pistons in a block. Don't insult me.

    compession diffences

from what I know the N/A engine has a SCR of 9.1:1, the GTE 8.4:1. You may be able to advance the ignition timing a couple degrees to help make up for any power losses.

Any adverse effect of cutting power to ECU when car is running?

You would also lose ignition control so running lean would not really be a problem. If anything it would cause a very small amount of fuel into your oil...

    single puller or dual pushers

I would use the pushers. Either route may work just fine for you but you have the pushers already. Plus, keeping plastic and electrical items away from intense heat is always a good idea.

    Well, i'm kinda back

I did some more work on my Supra in the past couple months. Today I dropped the engine/transmission so that I can finish fixing up my shifter hole. I found a great way to do it. Left the entire exhaust connected to the engine along with the transmission. I also left the engine connected to...

    92nsx's supra build

Your extra cranking could be due to your cam setup. Yeah, it does sound like your turbo is spitting out oil.

    92nsx's supra build

Ok, lets put it this way, I would have had the gasket material removed in a matter of minutes. Then had the repair finished with non-OEM parts and had it last as long as your setup...So then who's repair is the "correct" repair?
