    SySt's Build up

I forgot to mention on my trip from Burnsville to Grand Forks I was getting less than 15mpg. After sitting in traffic it was all 70-75mph. I should have been getting 25mpg+ and thats a conservative number. I attribute that to not having any O2 sensors, you can really smell how rich my car is...

    SySt's Build up

I have run into a little issue. I had RS Motors make my exhaust system. Unfortunately the guy who made the system may not know anything about cars beyond welding/fabricating. The pipes coming off of each cylindeer bank are tucked fairly close to the transmission bellhousing. On the left side...

    SySt's Build up

Actually, I will be staying here during the summer. I will be taking a couple trips back to cities I'm sure though. If you let me know when everyone is getting together I can make one of those trips for a Supra meet.

    SySt's Build up

On Friday I drove my Supra from Burnsville, MN to Grand Forks, ND. I ran into only two real issues. I have no fuel guage so I ran out of gas, but of course had planned for that. The other issue was when I was sitting in traffic for over an hour. My temp guage started rising from where is...

    Stripped down supra weight?

My Supra is basically completely gutted with an LS6/T56 setup. I have yet to weigh the car. I am expecting under 3k lbs. I will give you an actual weight after I drive 300+ miles this week assuming everything goes to plan.

    Welded Diff.?

I said starting at 120 down to 50... Doesn't that imply deceleration? I had a stock CT26 with bolt ons, obviously I didn't have enough power to break the tires loose like that. I broke the car loose with braking and steering. You are no longer arguing rationally. You might as well just not...

Ricers Buststed street racing Supra in it!

You do know there is a MKIII Supra in that video/bust right? They are not all "ricers".

Ricers Buststed street racing Supra in it!

Thats funny. That bust is from 2004. I had many friends who were actually there. As it even says in the video, they checked tons of cars and spent like 3 to 4 hours and were able to charge only a small fraction. That same street is still one of the main spots to go racing even these days...

    Welded Diff.?

Well, I guess you guys have it all figured out...:3d_frown: Of course any considered an expert will deem a welded differential unsafe. They are held accountable for what they deem safe, they don't want to be liable for what might happen. On the same note, I would bet that same "expert"...

    Seat Removal Help

^What he said. If that happens not to be the problem then check for voltage to the power seat it self. You can find wiring schematics for the Supra at the same website the TSRM is.

    Welded Diff.?

The ratio between the turning radii of each wheel is decreased with the increase overall turning radius. Basically, if you were to pull 1G lateral acceleration at 30MPH and then 1G lateral acceleration at 100MPH, your chances of breaking loose are more at 30MPH. If you are cornering that hard...

    92nsx's supra build

What weight oil are you running? You really shouldn't need any sort of pre-oiling system.

    Welded Diff.?

There is no correct or incorrect way of modifiying a car. If you want to put it in terms like that, then putting anything other than OEM parts on a car is "incorrect". As it has been said, there is nothing wrong with welding a differential. Just make sure you are aware of the effect it will...

    SySt's Build up

Well, I was thinking that a possibility. However I was actually wondering if I could use just one channel to simulate the NB signal for both banks. I guess I might as well just use both channels though if I am to do that. The main issue is that I have no way to mount an O2 sensor in my...

    SySt's Build up

Well I am finally updating this post. I have not worked on my Supra much in the past months as I have been at school. I am going to try and tow it up to school this Spring break to finish it to a point that I can drive it a lot. If my ride falls through I may just spend a few days working on...

    Welded Diff.?

Driving a car with a welded differential is not bad at all. At any speed. Anyone who says otherwise has obviously not had much time driving a car with a welded differential. Not to mention those aftermarket "2-way" differentials are quite tight anyhow, meaning you will scrub your inside tire...

The full bushings? What material? How much do you want?

Just how much does your subframe move?

I'd really like some solid replacements, perhaps aluminum... I guess i'll just have to get my own solid bushings made.

Just how much does your subframe move?

Does anyone make the actual bushings for the front and rear subframes? From the vendors I have only seen what appear to be the bushing "caps" or "spacers".
