What fails on them? Driftmotion ones? When I put my DM ones in the other day it wouldn't thread in properly. It's kinda hard to explain but the threads don't start until halfway along the male end and you must force it in kinda to get to where the threads begin. I had to install mine to adapt to...
I had a small leak in my heater core. I didn't know it so I was like you and trying to get all the air out of the system by opening the rad cap and stuff. Check for leaks first. A leak in the heater core is hard to notice. You probably could disconnect the heater core hoses in the engine bay and...
Well it's just that the protective covering on the outside doesn't even cover the whole hose. So I might think that it has nothing to do with holding the pressure and stopping the hose from bursting. We are talking what like 30 psi? I'm not sure about fuel pressures but would like to know...
Nobody I know owns a Supra. I know I can order one from drifmotion for about 30bucks (weeks of waiting) and I might get one when I go pick up my stuff from Classified Motorsports in Kelowna. I kinda just want to start my car. I guess it will be fine to just see if my car starts. I have been...
Hey I removed my intake manifold a while back and cracked my cold start injector hose. But it was just the protective outside covering which was brittle.
I'm wondering if there would be pressure always at this hose. And do you think it would still be fine to drive with it like that for a while?
Don't worry about the egr. It has it. Good. You can search in other threads to learn about the egr. Also search for (and look at tsrm) to find how to set the timing. If you wanna buy if then it wouldn't be a big deal to go see the guy and get it timed right to see if that fixes it ya know. BTW...
If it wasn't hooked up the north american ecu would think it is still installed and therefore not change the ignition timing to compensate. Many believe it's wise to keep it. Some believe it is a power hogging system and remove it. If you go standalone then it is fine. Anyway it was just a...
What about those coolant lines behind the exhaust manifold? They are very hard to see but there is some hardlines back there. Have you done a coolant system pressure check? Also (probly not your problem) the heater core is often overlooked because it's buried so deep in the dash. But it too is...
Yup I got one side out and spun around. I'm gonna do it exactly as OneJArpus said. Hvyman helped make it fast. I rarely bust out the air tools but, once I broke the nut with a wrench and breaker bar (with pipe extensions), I used my impact to spin it off super quick. I know don't get me wrong...
I think you can relocate it very easy. But delete is what I'm gonna do. And just vent it. Never leave the line open in the engine bay; it can cause a fire. If you just vent it the fuel pump won't last as long. The fuel pump likes a certain pressure to be in the tank and that is what the charcoal...
