This thread is technically in the wrong section, besides the fact you posted 2 identical threads at the same time. I'm going to close this thread- please use your other thread for info :) Link to thread in correct section...

    7m Exhaust Manifold stud size?

Stock studs are M10x1.25, so those will work. I think they'll be a little long, but they'll still work OK.

    Vibrant Exhaust Systems..something quieter?

I should add- what is you projected budget for this exhaust project? That would help greatly in people making suggestions :)

    Vibrant Exhaust Systems..something quieter?

The vibrant streetpower muffler is much smaller than I had initially thought, and I have a 3.5" version. If you want to be rid of drone, I might suggest trying one of them as the muffler, and another one as the resonator (much like tanabe does with their medallion touring exhaust) I had a hyper...

    Bad radiator cap?

Go to the dealer- should be around $15 and it'll fit for sure (unless you're running an aftermarket radiator) But even then I'm using an OEM on my Koyo.

    Bad radiator cap?

Over pressurization of the cooling system, lack of presure in cooling system, Sustained improper pressure in cooling system, Collapsing radiator hoses, exploding radiator hoses, Vacuum in cooling system, Overflow level never changes, cap is leaking coolant out, cap is missing parts of itself...

    power steering rack rebuild help

Its the way a pickle fork works. It applies pressure to the joint in a way that would tear 90% of toyota ball joint/tie rod end boots, and since he doesn't need to replace the tie rod end, it would be an uneeded cost. (as long as the jount wasn't already worn) As far as price, I look at an OEM...

    power steering rack rebuild help

Ha, you guys are funny- I'm no different than you. All I do is work at a dealer, nothing special about me (really) ;) No need for PM instructions, just post in this thread. If I don't respond quickly, then you can shoot me a PM directing me towards whatever thread needs help. I like to share...

    power steering rack rebuild help

No worries, I've found that lots of people have never heard of/tried any other method of removing them aside from those forks :( There are certain situations where the fork makes sense (very low accessibility) but I find it to be a personal challenge to figure out ways to not use them when...

    power steering rack rebuild help

SST= Special Service Tool The one for disconnecting ball joints/tie rod ends/etc is a beefed up C-clamp on steriods ;)

    power steering rack rebuild help

Tie rods connect to the knuckle, not the lower control arm... Anyways, if you're good at hammer control you can loosen the castle nut on the tie rod end, then carefully strike the knuckle where the tapered shaft of the outer tie rod end passes through it. Usually takes 4-5 firm strikes to knock...

No more codes!!! But now I have pretty magic smoke!

Blowing a head gasket doesn't mean instantly high/abnormal temp readings- that's more of a gradual thing as the engine loses coolant (and even then the stock gauge might not indicate anything out of the ordinary). When its light out, start the car and find out what color the smoke is- White...

    Funky starting issue

They changed from year to year- iirc my 91 book says they should be in the 200's. I'll check when I get back home tonight and update this post with accurate info. Edit: TIS had my 91 TSRM online :D G1 pickup coil resistance: G1 − G(−) 205 − 255 G2 pickup coil resistance: G2...

    O-Ring cylinder head?

note: I think you would be better served putting the grooves into the block- machine the head (were it to lift/warp) one time and you have to re-do everything. I don't know what issues you have been having, but a properly machined head and block should have no issues sealing and holding gobs of...

Fuel System: Go big or go home?

FYI- my tuner suggested to stay away from the ~1600cc injectors. He says they don't tune well, and advised 1350's unless I wanted to make more than 1k on E-85. If you want more, then he suggested the 2000's. (all of these from FIC)

Clutch Suggestions? In the Market today.

Well, for what it's worth, I really liked my Spec stage 3+ a lot. It had stock pedal feel, easy engagement, and had really long life. Problem is it's pretty heavy, and expensive. Shifting will have to be slower than a lighter puck-style clutch, just so you know. I have heard good things about...

    92nsx's supra build

Oh wow! I didn't think it was going to be that bad D: Sad to see it go, but that's the way things work with fast cars. You're still welcome to come out to any Supra events we have, maybe even beat a couple of them eventually ;) Lemme know if you need any help!

    Steve's mildly out-of-control build

Sweet, Dustin! Wes said you guys were out there- I though it was crazy that it was so light as well. I figure that my driving habits aren't aggressive enough, nor my power output high enough to warrant any of the crazier driveshafts, but this was just a little more insurance for me once I get...
