Wow I have the same clutch set up but I went with the ACT pressure plate they also did not tell me that the two dont work well together and I also welded mine together but the Pressure plate is still in good shape and Im going back to the stock FW with a new 6 puck feramic disk they originally...
What clutch and Flywheel were you using? I just had the same thing happen to me the sales rep failed to tell me that the Al FW and clutch did not play well together so they are sending me a new disk.
Im not sure if the rebic adds timing but Ive never had any detonation in the 4 years Ive been using it, even with the gt35r turbo I have my timing at 8 deg no problems Ive ran it pretty hard in two years since the new engine I did a comp. test yesterday and all cylinders range from 154-160psi
yes Im sure I can lean it out a bit with the SAFC but it idles like stock Ive got my fuel pressure a bit lower than stock It back fires evry now and then because of being rich but over all it runs great and Very strong! I pulled the plugs and they look good no fouling I just ran into clutch...
Im running 680s on mine right now idle is 14.7 but Im a bit rich in the upper rpms I will also be running the SAFC 2 soon as well the rebic LC Currently Im running 20 psi on a GT3540R and the Rebic is turned all the way down and Im still 9-10 AFR under WOT

Yes the clutch pedal feels normal I will be pulling the tranny today to see whats happening Im betting the clutch is welded to the flywheel. Thanks guys I will keep ya posted on the damage.
I took the inspection plate off and the bearing is still attached to the pressure plate All the hardware is still there so it is something else. I actually can watch the pressure plate move when the clutch is engaged.

My brother just blew his HG and has done all the proper machine work he got a full copper head gasket what are the pros/cons of using this over a layered metal head gasket??
