The dis-4 works with some I also have the tach adapters but it would not work with the MY stock coil packs theres another post where a member found that older coil packs short out with the dis-4, I installed the msd coil packs and it fired right up.
Its not just the cheap hoods that get sun damage I have one thats sun damaged from a great supplier on here Its about 5 years old, just needs to be recleared to make it look like new.
Im running msd gm coil packs they work with the factory ignition, Im running these due to the fact the msd dis-4 wont work with the factory coil packs on my car heres a pic of the setup, I had to use different ends on the coil side which is quite easy to do Ive had my spark get blown out when...

Remove the TPS and under it is the butterfly that turns the TPS when the throttle moves the problem is its out 180 deg. so I cut the tabs off the 1UZ butterfly and put a spare 7m butterfly and tack welded it on top I would have liked to mod the 1uz butterfly but it has a tab that is holding a...
Certain years use the same TPS but no ones has stepped up with a part # I just removed the 1UZ butterfly for the
1UZ TPS and turned it 180 deg. and tacked into place so the Stock 7m TPS will bolt right on. If you can find the
1UZ TPS harness its a direct swap its in another thread I did not...
That is what I was saying is the disk has a very high melting point here take a look at this thread
http://www.supramania.com/forums/showthread.php?t=10653&page=53
Wow why did two of us with the same setup have the exact same outcome HPF told me after the fact that this clutch does not work well with an AL FW if you put the two metals together the small disk cannot dissipate the heat fast enough Im well aware the aluminum dissipates heat faster, nothing...
the full face feramic is very easy to drive(had the exact same setup) my brother was amazed at the civility of the engagment but requires more leg effort nothing to bad. But I would not teach anyone how to drive stick with it im just picky on who I let drive my car, It says your are getting a...
Very different actually using the feramic (fullface)clutch creates much more heat since it has a much higher melting point which the AL FW cannot dissipate fast enough so the two get welded together the stock FW is all steel so disspates the heat there have been two of us in the past month with...
make sure you dont use an aluminum Flywheel they WILL weld together there has been two of us on here in the last month that they did not tell that to. We both welded together on the first burn out we did.
