I can't wait to see the dyno results. I'd like to see a comparison of how much better Ron's manifold is compared to mass produced brands for this engine ;). How much better (power gain wise, we already know the integrity of your work ;)) do you think yours is?
I doubt a name is smarter than any human bud. Now a Toyota engineer could be a different story...
You should do some research on Blow off valves before you decide to post up a noob response like that, you just ate your own foot ;).
Editted for clarification.
You need to steer clear of the 1.2 MLS if your boosting after the removal of that material ;). Especially since you don't know how much you removed when lapping.
A used set would be heat cycled already (assuming they were on the engine for any decent amount of time) so once you reach final torque, that's it. This is all assuming the studs are in great shape.
That's a great offer guys. Assuming there are no damage to them and they were never overtorqued, then they ARE better than a new set of studs. Reason being, you will never have to retorque them ;).
Very rarely do you need a 2mm HG because of material taken off, let alone a 3mm. If so, that would probably be one of the last times that head/block combo would be used. Most people get the 2mm MHG to be able to increase boost a little, or they want the 2mm stopper (like me) for sealing...
