I think mine would BHG during the race ;). It's already got RK from the dumbasses when did the last two BHG repairs on it before I bought it, that's why I don't drive it.

If you think Mobil1 is synthetic like it says on the bottle, you are dead wrong. You are paying synthetic price for a hydrocracked oil (dyno oil). It's still not a bad oil, but I wouldn't put it in my turbo car. If you want a true synthetic, try Castrol 0W30 european formula, Redline, or Amsoil ;).

The air bypass valve is th silver/copper colored round cylindrical shaped thingy with two big round hoses connected to each end of it. One hose comes off the 3000 pipe to the BPV and the other is connected to the accordian hose and goes to the BPV.

Boost leak from the cracked pipe. Do you have a test pipe or a cat on that 3" exhaust?

A bolt or stud is suppost to stretch, correct on that part. That's how the clamp is achieved. Do you realize how important of a role the rod bolt plays? One of the most important bolts in a motor in my opinion. They are constantly stressed throughout the RPMs. And you want to reuse a stock rod...

If you take off your AFM, you might as well find a different car to drive while you're waiting on another one. BTW, how do you know your AFM is what's giving you problems? And please, don't put a stocking anywhere near that engine ;).

Well, I've never raced my supra before, but I have played around with my DD ;). Last summer I was on the William Natcher parkway comming home from work. I normally drive the speed limit, which is 65 on that toll road. The right lane sucks on it (just recently had about half of it repaved) so...

Ok. How much boost was you using? I'm assuming the block wasn't very flat, the head wasn't torqued down tight enought, or you were pushing way too much boost. Did you use a copper sealant spray or permatex brake quiet?
