I think it's 80%, because most injectors max out at 80% duty cycle. Anyways, 90% is 495cc's or 47.1429 lbs/hr. At 80% it's 440cc's or 41.9048 lbs/hr.
Calculations for lbs/hr came from: http://www.racetep.com/rc2.html
And of course, just multiply the number of cc's in the injector by the %...
Just for the record, what spark plugs were you previously using before you changed them, and what are you using now? Have you got around to checking the carrier bearing? You can do that faster than you can change out your plugs ;).
Check out this beast that was posted in the general section, not a bad price and it's 5mm shy of being as thick as the PWR radiator: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/Haste-86-92-Toyota-Supra-JZA70-Manual-Aluminum-Radiator_W0QQcmdZViewItemQQcategoryZ33602QQitemZ180101243707QQrdZ1QQsspagenameZWDVW...
Gotta love that instaspool effect it's showing on the dyno ;).
Kinda looks like on the second run they upped the boost, but it looks like it bled off in the upper RPMs because look at the power shift between the two...
^Pretty much, unless you buy a bigger radiator that's not specifically made for the supra, but you may start running into fitment issues with anything bigger than the PWR or the radiator we are talking about here, they're almost the same size. I don't see why you need anything bigger than either...
I would think an upgraded CT, maybe a 57 trim would be just right for your goals, I just think it's probably going to take more than 15 psi to get where you want to be, but if you build it right, you shouldn't have to worry about pushing more boost ;).
^true, but the slight mods needed to make this fit are negligable (sp?) and is no worse than some other radiators that some members custom fit into the supra because they are cheaper than rads specifically made for our car ;). The concept here is performance vs. cost effectiveness.
You're best bet right off the bat for power is probably to get rid of the stock turbo elbow, that thing is a bottle neck if I've ever seen one ;). Try this item for a replacement elbow: http://www.suprasport.com/Elbows_c_46-1.html but it's kinda hard to find a downpipe for it that's actually 3"...
If you can find it, try the Castrol Syntec 0W-30 European formula, it will say, "made in Germany" on the back in small letters by the bar code. It can only be found at Auto Zone and is one of the best TRUE synthetic oils out there for the money you spend on it. Most oils that you find at stores...
Buy the IC, then get the 2.5" universal kit from driftmotion also. You will need two 90 degree silicone couplers from there too, along with a 2.5"-2.75" reducer and a 2.25"-2.5" reducer ;). And possibly an extra 45 degree pipe or two to get the least restrictive flow when doing the piping ;).
Actually, I think the PWR radiator is a little bigger, isn't it 57mm thich whereas this one is 52mm? Doesn't really matter much to me though since this radiator is easily $100.00 cheaper than any PWR rad. I know the PWR fit no probs, so there shouldn't be any issue with this one unless the fan...
