A good, solid, 300HP engine that's responsive is all you need for autox. Hell, most do it with far less. Most of the money needs to be going into the suspension for autox as it's about handling and not speed...
For locks, I remember people up north having little rubber covers that stuck over the lock to keep out the water. Ugly, but effective. In this day and age though they make nice battery powered lock deicers.
Probably a bad time to do it (who wants do work on their car when it's freezing...
Forgot to mention, that's the flywheel in that photo, but the pressure plate will get just as bad. The more you drive it while slipping, the more likely you're going to glaze/overheat/crack them.
To eliminate the linkage that sits over the valve covers is my guess, though I don't see why you'd need it for a JDM throttle body as they already eliminate that...
*mumbles something about RPS sucking*
Stick a stock disk in there and turn the boost back down. One a clutch starts slipping you're on borrowed time and you're only risking major damage. Case in point (stock clutch that started failing the day before, tried going down the street and it...

- Clutch master wasn't adjusted...

Man, I have some fun storys about the ice storms we get here. Had a major ice storm + high winds, entire driver's side of my truck was covered in 1/4-1/2 of ice so I had to crawl in...
There was one of those cars around here. Lots of issues with it, namely the scavenging pump for the oil, but being an LS1 it already had plenty of power down low. LS1 is a 5.7 though, compare to the 1UZ 4.0.
LOL, knew Rota would come into this. Guess what? They make OEM wheels as well. Rota wheels are bought by retards with hondas or "drift" cars and they smack a curb and they break. That's FAR outside what a normal wheels is designed for. Want a wheel that can take it? Buy a rally wheel...
Remote mount refures to not being in the engine bay. It's usually placed at the back of the car where the muffler would be. Really doubt you'd get any boost at all under 3K RPM on a remote mount unless it's small, and then you'll choke off at higher RPM.
I think you'll be really...
I bought my car and it was missing ALL the braces. Turbo to manifold bolts would loosen up all the time. Found all the braces and put them on, no more having to retighten bolts. Your milage may vary...
